Alana's palace was massive, rivaling even that of Jack's palace. But for all its size, it was quite elegant and simple in its presentation. Regal without being tacky or showy. 

From the moment they walked in however, a group of servants surrounded them, all of them asking questions about the young man on her arms.

"Everyone, calm down." Alana spoke and the group fell silent. She glanced at Will out of the corner of her eye, giving him a small, reassuring smile. "This gentleman was a victim of the storm a few days ago. His ship was wrecked and he's far from home. Though he can not speak, it appears our countries share the same language as we seem to understand each other."

Wether it was a clever lie or purely guessing, Alana didn't realize how close she was to the truth, Will thought.

"For the time being, he is under my protection and staying with us as a guest. I expect you'll all make him feel welcome."

"Of course, my lady," a small crowd of voices rang out. Alana turned to Will.

"We'll get you set up in a room and cleaned up," She said. "Will you join us for dinner?"

Will felt like his head was spinning. Even the thought of dining with… He forced himself to stay focused and nodded.

"Wonderful," She said. She motioned for a few of the male servants to come forward and follow them as she lead Will down several halls and finally to a beautiful guest bedroom. Alana gently released his arm.

"I have to go for now, but you are in good hands, I promise," She smiled. "I will see you tonight then."

Will smiled, his eyes following her as he watched her go before two men lead him into the adjoining bathroom to wash up.

Living in the sea, Will had no need to ever "bathe" as the humans called it and while he found it odd that humans added strange scents and oils to heated water to make it bubble, it was soothing and relieved some of the tension in his new legs. One man even washed his hair while another laid out fine clothes for him. All this treatment? Just for a meal? Well, he supposed he was dining with royalty.

The servants helped him dry and dress, for which Will was grateful as he had still to master balancing in both legs though he found himself getting better at it. Finally, he was brought before a mirror to see the results.

"What do you think, sir?" One man asked.

The suit was made of a fine green material, lined with fine embroidery… he looked like human royalty himself. He couldn't help but stare for a few moments before turning back to the man and nodding in thanks.

"Her highness seems to have taken a liking to you!" He said kindly. "You had better be kind in return!" Though there was a playfulness in the voice, the threat was clear.

He needn't worry, Will thought. He'd rather be eaten by a shark than lay a hand upon Alana.

Just then, there was a knock at the door and another young man entered.
